Hi! My name is Carol and I am the owner of South Jersey handcrafted soap company, Blueberry Fields Artisan Soap. Way back in 2007, the production manager at my full-time laboratory job encouraged me to make soap and lip balms and sell them at craft shows. I decided to give it a try and I became addicted to the craft! My background in biochemistry really helps me when formulating new recipes. In 2008, Blueberry Fields was born and in May of that year I vended at my first craft show.
I really love the creativity of making cold process soap. I like to challenge myself by trying new swirl techniques and using new ingredients. Last year’s top seller was from my all-natural handmade soap line. It is scented with lemongrass and eucalyptus essential oils and made with green tea. Also popular among my customers are lavender oatmeal and patchouli.
My future goal for Blueberry Fields is to purchase more equipment to make production easier since I still work a full-time job and my time is always limited. I worked with Kim and Kevin from Marketspace Vendor Events in 2018 at Sharks and Crafts at Adventure Aquarium and I have signed up for their events in 2019. They really care about their vendors and they promote us individually, in addition to promoting the event.
Blueberry Fields Artisan Soap will be at this upcoming event!
